Hey the tea worked
I was coherent and rocked. Now I have to find something to keep me perking along for one more session from 3:30am to 5:30am. Two more hours of being informative and entertaining. Oh my. That stuff I said about missing working at night. Yeah, I forgot that they basically turn off the air after about 9pm, so the training room is doubling for a sauna. Yikes, I forgot my towel.

NOLA can always use some good news and tonight they got some. Still riding the happy wave of Tom Benson buying the team, the number one pick in the draft may be just the icing on the cake the Hornets need for a great season. Yay!!
Sometimes I miss working the night shift
I’ve worked every crazy shift imaginable over the years. Tonight I’m working 6pm to 6am. It’s quiet in the office. I think I’m the only one on this floor right now. Cleaning lady just made her rounds. I can prep for my classes, one at 12:30am and one at 3:30am in peace. Nine in the first class. Six in the room and three by phone from Dallas. Only three in the second class....

Heading to the Outer Banks tomorrow. Weather forecast keeps filling up with scattered stuff but who knows. And frankly who cares. I’m not a beach bunny. Water temps are way too low at this point for much splashing about. But I get to share a new locale with the romantical one.
