This year the Gingerbread Wonderland at Le Parker Meridien hotel in midtown Manhattan had a theme of “Landmarks Around the World.” Among my favorites were the Lincoln Memorial, complete with winterized mittens and ear muffs and the Candycrane mimicking the crane made famous during Hurricane Sandy. It’s free to view the confectionery wonders until Jan 3 but tickets to vote on your favorite offer a prize of a 5 night stay at the Parker Palm Springs and the proceeds go to City Harvest so everyone wins.
